Shichirin-mura is a facility in the Hasshoku Center, a food theme park in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
You can grill fresh seafood and meat you purchase at the market on a shichirin (charcoal grill).
Shichirin-mura is popular among tourists and locals alike because one can enjoy delicious Hachinohe food there.

How to Use Shichirin-mura

01Reception

At reception, pay the usage fee for the number of people in your party.
After securing your seat(s), you can purchase food.
Usage is limited to two hours from the time you secure your seat(s).

02Buying Food

Buy food at shops in the Hasshoku Center building.
There is a variety of shops that sell fish, meat, and delicacies.
When buying food, tell shop staff that you'll be eating it in Shichirin-mura, and they'll process them so you can cook and eat on the spot.

03Grilling and Eating

You can grill the fresh food over a charcoal fire and eat it right there.
The key to good grilling: Grill shellfish first, and fish and meat last.

04Cleaning Up

After you finish eating, clean up your seating area.
Return tongs and seasoning sets to the return counter.
Separate trash and dispose of it in the trash cans provided.
You can leave the charcoal grill as is.
